Labor Day Weekend is approaching and there will be a couple opportunities for you to get out and enjoy the cooling weather near Logan. Consider visiting the International Art Quilt Invitational Exhibit in Brigham City or find fresh produce and more at a nearby market near our apartments in Logan, UT.
International Art Quilt Invitational Exhibit
If you haven't already, head over to Brigham City for the final weekend of the International Art Quilt Invitational Exhibition at the Brigham City Museum of Art and History. Admission to the museum is free and you can view unique quilts from the Netherlands, Italy, Germany, Australia, the United Kingdom, Canada, and America. Stop by Friday between 11 am and 6 pm or come down on Saturday from 1 pm to 5 pm for the final public viewing.
Make it a trip and stop for lunch at a nearby restaurant. Downtown Brigham City hosts many locally owned and operated stops including the Idle Isle Cafe, which serves traditional American dishes such as burgers, fries, salmon fillets, coffee, pie, and much more. Or head a little farther south to Ricardo's Mexican Restaurant for classic Mexican-inspired meals.
Spend Saturday morning at a nearby market for fresh produce, arts, crafts, beverages, and much more. Stay in Logan for the Gardeners' Market beginning at 9 am at the Historic Cache County Courthouse on Main. There will be freshly-squeezed lemonade, pastries, produce vendors, and a weekly Fine Arts and Crafts Fair all in downtown Logan.
If you'd like to take a little trip, head over to the Rockhill Creamery in Richmond for their weekly Harvest Market. From 10 am to 1 pm each Saturday through October, you can visit the creamery and see the farm's cows, view their cheese aging cave, enjoy live music, and shop a wide variety of local cheeses, breads, fruits, veggies, and much more.
