Old Tucson is One Of Arizona's Top Wild West Attractions

Do you want to walk the streets made famous by John Wayne, Elizabeth Taylor, and Clint Eastwood?

Then visit Old Tucson.

Immortalized in over 400 films and commercial productions, it's the region's top filming location.

Old Tucson is also one of Arizona's premier Wild West attractions, and it's an easy drive from our East Tucson apartments.

Highlights include:

Old Tucson Story Museum

Step inside the Old Tucson Story Museum to learn about Old Tucson's storied history. You'll also discover that the city had its own silent film star, and see the original costumes worn in Bonanza and Little House on the Prairie

Living History Presentations

Old Tucson historians bring the stories of the Wild West to life. They talk about the trail drives, keeping the peace, and the raucous saloons and the clientele that frequented them.

Trail Rides/Old West Stagecoach

Explore the forty-acre property on horseback. Along the way, you'll see majestic saguaro cacti and take in picturesque desert landscapes. Visitors can also enjoy a stagecoach ride. It departs from the OK Corral and offers a unique view of the town.

Big Jake's Bar-B-Q

At Big Jake's, all of the meat is smoked on site. The restaurant offers friendly service, and a rustic, homey atmosphere. Meals include ribs, chicken, and beef served with baked potatoes and coleslaw. For dessert, try the seasonal cobbler.

Grand Palace Saloon

If you want to enjoy snacks and entertainment, step inside the Grand Palace Saloon. It features live shows and films that relive the days when Westerns were king. You can munch on nachos, popcorn, or hot pretzels while sipping a pint of beer.
