The Best Bookstores in Tucson

Books help us grow and diversify our minds. The worlds that are created are eternal and forever a part of our history. Not only are books important, but so are the bookstores in which they live. Too many people have forgotten the charm that bookstores hold. Every city needs at least one good one. Thankfully, Tucson has multiple!

Here are a few favorites near our apartments in East Tucson.

Antigone Books

Antigone Books is a lovely, local bookstore that's been open since 1973. It also happens to be the first fully solar-powered bookstore in the country. They, of course, have a large selection of books. However, they don't only sell books. They also sell quirky trinkets such as planners, notebooks, stickers, and music boxes. It's a great place to pick up a birthday present. The staff is welcoming and professional.

Mostly Books

Don't be fooled by how small Mostly Books appears on the outside. When you walk in, you will be amazed by the extensive collection and the sheer amount of books. You'll able to find all genres and types including obscure titles. They have used books but they also order new books each week. Everything's a reasonable price as well. The ladies who work there are passionate and treat their books well.

Clues Unlimited

Clues Unlimited is a bookstore with over 15,000 books that specializes in mystery books. The store radiates charm and is neatly organized and well stocked. If they don't have the book you are looking for, they will order it for you without even asking for a deposit. It's evident that the owner cherishes her merchandise and will help you find a good read.

These fantastic bookstores aren't the only thing to explore in Tucson. Feel free to contact us so we can answer any questions and schedule a tour.
