The Best Parks in Midvale

Spring is in the air, and summer is just around the corner. Now is the perfect time of the year to enjoy everything the outdoors has to offer. A local park is a great way to spend a day outdoors, and there are plenty near our apartments in Midvale.

Here are a few local parks that you can enjoy on a beautiful, sunny day.

Conservation Garden Park

Conservation Garden Park showcases different landscapes that are easier to maintain in Utah's climate and are also designed to efficiently use water. Visitors will receive free general admission to view approximately six acres of demonstration landscapes and four different pathways of garden exhibits. There are different plants to locate throughout the gardens, and various classes are offered at the Conservation Garden Park. Day trips can also be scheduled for large groups such as field trips and cub scout tours.

Willow Pond Park

Located in Murray, just north of Midvale, is the Willow Pond Park. This large outdoor park is a great place to catch a few fish since it features a four-acre fishing pond, fish cleaning station, and a fishing pier. The park also contains a volleyball court, gazebo, playgrounds, outdoor basketball courts, small water features for children to enjoy, and a pavilion that is used on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Mountainview Park

Mountainview Park is located just east of Midvale and features a 110-person pavilion, two playgrounds, and a splash pad. Other features of the park include a basketball court, two tennis courts, two soccer fields, and charcoal grills. The walking path is an excellent place to work on your fitness as you stare at the mountains in the background.
