Being on Time
Arriving at a location at the time you’re supposed to be there seems like an easy thing to do. But for some reason, we seem to have a lot of difficulty doing so. Part of this conundrum can be attributed to the American way of living. We are much more strict than most countries when it comes to keeping time. In our country, one minute late is a crime, while in the Ukraine, one hour late is a crime. No matter how we view this subject, we cannot step outside of our cultural surroundings. And the fact is that we are a nation of being on time to the minute. Employers expect you to be on time for interviews, training sessions, and work shifts. The only conceivable way you can do this is to be early. That’s right, be early.
